Malden Soldier Returns Home
The lifelong Malden resident and recent Malden High grad aims to further serve the city.

MALDEN - Joao Marcos Sequeira, a 2016 Malden High grad, recently returned from two months in Fort Jackson, S.C., for basic training.
Sequeira has lived in Malden his whole life and aims to become a Malden Police officer while also considering attending U.S. Army Airborne School, according to the City of Malden. First he will return to school for Criminal Justice.
He spent some time upon his return visiting with Mayor Gary Christenson and Veterans Services Director Kevin Jarvis to share his experiences.
