Malden Tacks On Extra Week Of Yard Waste Pickup
Running late on getting rid of leaves this year? Residents now have another opportunity to get their yard waste picked up.
MALDEN, MA — The city has added a week of yard waste pickup to help residents with late fall yard waste. Pickup will take place Dec. 2-6. Waste must be placed curbside on regularly scheduled trash pickup days in brown paper bags or in barrels marked "yard waste."
Waste must be separated from regular trash. Accepted yard waste includes leaves, grass clippings and twigs. No branches, logs or dirt will be picked up.
Additionally, Malden residents may bring yard waste to the DPW, 356 Commercial Street, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.
