New Malden Speed Limit On Tuesday's Agenda

The Malden Traffic Commission has a few items at task next Tuesday.

The monthly meeting of the Malden Traffic Commission will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 5 p.m. in the Cafeteria of the Malden Senior Center, 7 Washington Street, Malden.

Speed Limit Change - 25 MPH Citywide
Peg Crowe, Counc. Ward 1
Barbara Murphy, Counc. Ward 5
Requests the Traffic Commission reduce the citywide speed limit to 25 MPH unless posted otherwise.

Speed Enforcement Sign - Prentiss St and Lynn St
David Walsh
Requests the Traffic Commission attach a "Speed Enforcement Safety Zone" sign, or one of similar verbiage, to the existing flashing light pole at Prentiss and Lynn Streets.

480 Main Street - Resident Parking Signs

Requests the Traffic Commission add two future resident parking signs in front of 480 Main Street to help prospects be able to locate them and to associate the building as an apartment community.

Middlesex Street - Parking
Lt. Ryan Fortier
Requests the Traffic Commission eliminate the single marked parking space on the east side of Middlesex Street at Exchange Street and designate this spot as "No Parking"
