Fire Rips Through Malden Liquor Store
Firefighters were battling a three-alarm blaze on Medford Street.
MALDEN, MA — A three-alarm fire that sent smoke billowing into the sky ripped through the roof of Edge Liquors late Tuesday morning.
Firefighters were eventually pulled from the building before the roof collapsed. No serious injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown.

The Everett Firefighters' union posted that part of the roof collapsed, and an evacuation was ordered to get firefighters out of the building. Everett was among several nearby companies to respond.
Edge Liquors is located at 381 Medford Street.

The fire tied up traffic in the area of Medford Street and Highland Ave for hours.
