Malden Veterans Day Observances
Here's what you need to know about the parade and monument rededication schedule.

MALDEN, MA – Veterans Day is next Friday, Nov. 11, and Malden has a day of services planned in honor of those who served.
The observances begin with a memorial service at 9 a.m. at American Legion Post #69. At 10 a.m., the parade will disembark, helmed by Grand Marshals Anthony "Tony" Baleno, U.S. Navy World War II veteran, and Vietnam veteran David Dolan.
The parade route is as follows:

• proceed up Pleasant Street from the American Legion
• left onto Summer Street

• right onto Mountain Avenue
• right onto Mt. Vernon Street
• right onto Salem Street
• continue through Malden Square
• right onto Pleasant Street
• end in front of City Hall
After the parade, at approximately 12 noon, there will be a ceremony at Bell Rock Memorial Park to rededicate the World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War memorials. Though the memorials have stood outside of City Hall for decades, they were relocated ahead of the building's demolition.
