Malden/East Boston Pee Wee B's Win Valley League Gold North National Championship
Pee Wee's defeated Danvers for the title.

The Malden/East Boston Pee Wee B's finished a great season with a 3–1 win over Newton Pee Wee’s to grab second place in the division. This was an important game because it granted the team a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
With the win, the team focused on the semi-final game against North Reading on the morning of April 3. The game was a hard fought battle between two bitter rivals.

In the end, Malden/East Boston came out on top with a 2–1 victory on goals scored by Gino Desimone assisted by Michael Goroshko and an unassisted goal by Anthony Cecca.
This set up the championship game that evening against Danvers at Merrimack College. This too, turned out to be an up and down game between two teams who had only met once in the regular season.

Danvers came out strong and took an early 1–0 lead. Malden/East Boston fought back with goals by John Hanley and Gino Desimone. Malden/East Boston kept the lead with great goaltending by Thomas Guarino and excellent defense.
Desimone's goal proved to be the game winner. It was the perfect ending to an unbelievable season.
