Malden's Winter Parking Won't Start Nov. 1 - Unless It's Wintry
The mayor said this morning that winter parking restrictions will begin when the first wintry event does.

MALDEN, MA — Malden's winter parking restrictions won't start until the first "winter event" of the year," Mayor Gary Christenson announced Wednesday morning. That means restrictions won't automatically go into effect on Nov. 1 like years past.
The City said more information will follow, but as of now there is no specific definition to "winter event," though it likely indicates some form of frosty precipitation.
Temperatures are forecast to be cold enough to get something like that over the next few days, but no precipitation is expected.
