MHS and MVRCS Soccer Teams compete in MIAA State Championships

Malden High School and Mystic Valley Charter School Girls' and Boys' Soccer teams are in the State Championships. Come cheer them on!

Both the girls and boys soccer teams from Malden High School (Division 1) and Mystic Valley Regional Charter School (Division 4) are competing in the MIAA State Championships, starting with Malden High Boys’ Soccer (13th, (10-5-3) .639) who played East Boston today at 5:00 PM in East Boston. Unfortunately they were defeated and will not advance, but they had a great season.

Mystic Valley boys (1st, (14-2-1) .853) play Austin Prep at Mystic Valley Field, 530 Eastern Ave, Malden, Sunday November 4 at 12:00 PM.

Malden High School Girls Soccer and Mystic Valley Regional Charter School Girls Soccer teams begin the state championships on Monday, November 5. Both are ranked first in their brackets, MHS with (15-2-1) .861 and MVRCS, (14-2-0) .875.

Malden plays Lexington November 5, 4:00 PM at McDonald Stadium, 32 Pearl St, Malden. Mystic Valley plays November 5 at 6:00 PM against St. Joseph Prep. at Mystic Valley Field, 530 Eastern Ave, Malden. (All you Malden Youth Soccer fans can go to BOTH games to support our players!) The winners of each game will go on to play on November 7, time and location to be announced. Tickets are $5.00 for students K-12 (children age 5 and under are free), and $7.00 for adults (Senior Citizens age 62 and over - may purchase STUDENT ticket where available). Come and support our Malden teams in their quests to win!
