Milford Sneaks Past Malden 1-0 for Championship Title

Both teams played a strong game at Worcester State University Saturday night, but in the end, Milford managed to score the game's only run at the bottom of the ninth, winning the game in extra innings. 

The game, livestreamed on the internet by Malden Access Television, was accompanied by a lively social media presence both online and at the event itself, with many in the community expressing gratitude and support to the Malden team. 

Malden finished the season 23-2. 

"Tough loss but Malden has nothing to be ashamed of, they made us all proud!!" Mayor Gary Christenson tweeted.
