Madame Mallory (Mirren) lives for culinary perfection at her highly regarded classical French restaurant nestled in a scenic village in the south of France. When Hassan Kadan, an aspiring chef from India, arrives in town with his family, Madame Mallory begins a plot to sabotage the newly opened Maison Mumbai, which is a mere hundred feet across the street from her restaurant.
