This true story chronicles the senior year of high school for several young women living in inner city Baltimore, where they face challenges amidst poverty and social unrest. Empowered by their teachers, coaches, families, and each other, they strive to win a championship and go to college.
Rotten Tomatoes gives the film a 95% approval rating and Variety calls the film a "crowd-pleasing winner." The Wrap writes that the movie is "exhilarating," and HuffPost says it's "A joy to watch."
