Mystic Valley Students Attend Model UN Convention
Four students accepted to special committees.

The Mystic Valley Model United Nations Organization participated in Harvard’s 58 Model United Nations Convention from Jan. 27-30. Prior to the trip, four students—juniors Maggie Coughlin and Audrey Cain and seniors Karl Afrikian and Ngobitak Ndiwane—had applied for, and were accepted to, special committees by the Harvard Secretary-General, which is the most ever from the MVRSC program.
The remaining 12 students served as the delegation from the Democratic Republic of Congo and contributed well to their Assemblies. Mystic Valley will attend Cornell University’s Convention from March 10-13.
The students who attended the conference were: Sophomore Alex Coughlin, juniors Karl Afrikian, Nohamin Ayele, Michael Brown, Diandra Franks, Emma Justice, Corinne Kelley, Kristina Kontos, Ariana Mirzakashani, Ngobitak Ndiwane, Amanda Ng, Amanda Pires, Joey Russo and seniors Audrey Cain, Sam Childs and Maggie Coughlin.
