“Thank you, festival director, Mohammed Shadid and Mayor Gary Christenson for bringing us together for the first ever New England Muslim Festival,” said Clark. “While too many aim to divide us with hate and fear, members of our community here in Malden and across the Commonwealth are working together to strengthen our country and our democracy. We are one American family and that’s worth celebrating.”
