Obituary: Christopher Russo, 2007 Malden Catholic Grad

Christopher D. Russo passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014. He was 25.

Christopher was a lifelong resident of Malden. He graduated in 2007 from Malden Catholic High School where he played football, lacrosse and rugby and then attended the University of Massachusetts in Lowell where he studied plastics engineering. Christopher currently worked as a real estate agent and was an avid sports fan.

Christopher was the beloved son of Domenic and Marisa (Madeira) Russo. He was the loving brother of Stephanie Russo. Christopher was the cerished grandson of Domenica Russo and her late husband Serafino and the late Louis and Dinora Madeira. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A mass of Christian burial celebrating Christopher’s life will be held in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church on Friday, Sept. 26, from 3-8 p.m.
