Obituary For Louise A. DeVincentis, Longtime Malden Resident
Louise owned and operated the Revlin Plaza Function Hall with her husband and was a skilled artist, a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and active in Malden youth sports programs.

Louise Agnes DeVincentis, 78, of Marshfield, formerly a longtime Malden resident, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at her home, with her loving family by her side.
She was born November 2, 1933 in Boston, Massachusetts the daughter of Henry and Agnes L. (Murphy) McAllister. She was raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School with the Class of 1951. In August of 1952, Louise and her sweetheart Joseph F. DeVincentis were married in St. Catherines Church in Somerville.

They first settled down in Somerville before moving to Malden in 1961 where they continued to raise their family. Louise owned and operated the Revlin Plaza Function Hall with her husband. She was also a skilled artist who worked mostly with oil painting, but also created charcoal drawings and watercolor paintings. In years past she had been very active in Malden youth sports programs.
She is survived by her husband Joseph F. DeVincentis, her children, , Joseph A. DeVincentis of Danvers, Paul H. DeVincentis of Malden,, Lynn A. McCoy of Peabody, Nancy J. Fermano of Peabody, Dianne M. Rocci of Everett, Joyce L. Munroe of Peabody, Robert F. DeVincentis of Malden, and Gary S. DeVincentis of Walpole, her siblings, Rosalie Swanfeldt of Hudson, Sylvia Pinkham of Somerville, Ellen Ogren of Medford, Donald Ryan of VA, and Ann Gould of NH, as well as 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Agnes L. McAllister, her son Thomas J. DeVincentis; her great grandson, Nathaniel Barleycorn and her brothers, Henry McAllister and James Ryan.
Visitation will be at Weir - MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, on Monday, January 30th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 31st, 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Jamie Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
