Obituary: James E. Noble, Formerly of Malden

Noble, 55, of Saugus, died on March 2.

James E. Noble, of Saugus, formerly of Malden, passed away suddenly in Melrose on March 2, 2015, at he age of 55.

James was born in Malden in 1959, the son of Theodore and Ruth Noble. He grew up in Malden and graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1977. After high school, began working at The Boston Gas Company, now known as National Grid. James has been working as a Pipefitter with the company for 36 years.

James was passionate about sports, and especially enjoyed going to Fenway Park and Gillette Stadium. Also for many years, he was the Coach for all of his children’s baseball and softball teams.

He is survived by his children, Brian J. O’Regan of Malden, Stefanie C. Noble of Saugus, James T. Noble of Saugus, and Allison R. Noble of Saugus, his sister Pamela J. Bourque of Billerica, his brother, Stephen A. Noble of Wakefield, and his former wife Fredericka B. Noble of Malden.

Funeral services will be held at the Weir MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden, on Friday. , March 6th, at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday , Mar 5th, from 4-8 PM.
