Obituary: John Patrick Passman, 49

Obituary from Boston Cremation:

John Patrick Passman age 49, of Malden, MA, died on Sept. 18, 2014.

John was a 1995 graduate of the University of Minnesota with the degree of Bachelor of Science with distinction. He was employed by Consolidated Paper, Inc. as a Process Engineer and Environmental Manager at Stevens Point, WI.

He moved to Fargo, MN and began graduate studies as a Ph.D. Fellow at North Dakota State University.

Unfortunately, illness caused a disability and he was unable to continue.

John is survived by his life partner, Ellen Cline, mother, Patricia Jensen (William Coleman), sons Jacob Passman-Smith (Lauren) and Jeremy Passman (Olivia) and granddaughters Carina, Aurora, Sovann, sister Mona Passman, brother Richard Passman , half brother James Passman, half sister Beth Holine (Anders), step sister Carey Coleman and many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins.

We will remember that his life’s goal was to have a significant impact on the future of mankind. He possessed a love of family, keen intellect, and sense of humor. His battle against disability and illness was fought bravely and he will be greatly missed by all of us who were blessed by his time with us.
