Obituary: Michael Cutelis, 30, Lifelong Malden Resident
Cutelis died suddenly Thursday, April 24.

Michael P. Cutelis, a lifelong resident of Malden, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 24, at the age of 30.
Michael was born and raised in Malden. He attended the NE Regional Vocational School in Wakefield, where he learned carpentry, and graduated with the Class of 2001. He had worked as a finish carpenter since graduating from high school.Â

Michael was very fond of music, and enjoyed going to concerts whenever he could. He also liked playing golf. His greatest joy though came from spending time with his two nephews.Â
He is survived by his mother, Sara Cutelis of Saugus, his grandmother, Marylou Casey of Malden, his brother, of Peter T. and wife Brooke T. Cutelis of Lowell, his nephews, Cameron and Ryder, his very close friend, Sarah Nesiah, as well as five aunts and uncles, including Auntie E.M. Casey of Malden who was very dear.Â

Funeral services will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, at 7:45 am, followed by a mass of Christian burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, Malden, at 9 a.m. Interment to follow in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 30, from 4-8 p.m.Â
