Obituary: Nicholas Noe, Owner of C. Noe and Sons Produce Company
Noe died Monday, Sept. 15. He was 88.

Nicholas D. Noe, 88, of Topsfield and formerly of Peabody and Lynnfield, died Monday, Sept. 15, at the Beverly Hospital after a brief illness.
He was the devoted husband of the late Alice (Bocca) Noe. He was born in Boston on Nov. 7, 1925, the son of the late Dominic and Sebastiana (Guardino) Noe and was raised and educated there. He had resided in Peabody for many years and later in Lynnfield and Topsfield.

Nicholas was the proprietor of C. Noe and Sons Produce Company of Malden for over 50 years prior to his retirement. He was a veteran of WWII, serving overseas with the U.S. Army. He loved to dance and enjoyed going with his wife to different ballroom dancing places on the North Shore and later at the Peabody Senior Center. He also enjoyed following the Boston Celtics but his real pleasure in life was enjoying his family and sharing with them.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Edward C. and Marybeth Noe of Newburyport and Dominic Noe of Eastport, Maine, a daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and James Connolly of Weymouth, a sister, Margaret Sullivan of Haverhill, his cherished grandchildren, Lauren Rubman and her husband Jay of Longmeadow, Michael Bergin and his fiancé Carolyn Weed of Cambridge, Alexandra Noe of South Boston and Annemarie Noe of Newburyport, and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Lynnfield, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Susan G.
