Obituary: Stacey Ann O'Rourke, Lifelong Malden Resident
O'Rourke was a Malden High graduate, Class of 1986. She died Saturday, Nov. 15.

Stacey Ann O’Rourke, a lifelong resident of Malden, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 15, at her home with her loving family by her side.
Stacey was born in Malden in 1968, the daughter of Charles T. and Rosemarie (Cavignano) Hanson. She grew up in Malden and graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1986. In 1995, she married Thomas L. O’Rourke in St. Joseph’s Church in Malden, and the two settled down to raise their family.

She became very involved in her children’s lives and was proud of the them as they grew up. Her children gave her the strength to keep fighting through her six-year battle with cancer. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends, and doing wordsearch puzzles, but spending time with her family was paramount to her.
She is survived by her husband Thomas, her children Randall J. O’Rourke and Ashley Ann O’Rourke of Malden, her brother Randall J. Hanson of Malden, her sister Gail M. Scalli of Seabrook, New Hampshire, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 8 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial in St. Joseph’s Church, Malden, at 9 a.m. Interment to follow in Forest Dale Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 4-8 p.m.
