Photo Gallery: Malden Boys Lacrosse Crushed by Wakefield

It was tough day for the Malden High boys lacrosse team on Thursday, as the Golden Tornadoes were blown out by host Wakefield, 19-1. 

Cruz Desrochers scored Malden's lone goal  while goalie Stanley Chen made 18 saves.

"Malden never quit," said head coach Brenden Maney, "and even though the score does not indicate the outcome, we played hard.  I'm proud of them for that."

Malden heads to Salem Friday night for a 7 p.m. game.
