Photo Gallery: Malden Girls Tennis Falls to Medford

The Malden High girls tennis team lost a big GBL match against Medford on Thursday, falling to the Mustangs, 4-1, at Dugger Park in Medford. 

Malden's lone win came at the first singles spot, where Lisa Delacey beat Medford's Emily Nixon  6-0, 6-4. 

Medford's Katie Bowler beat Natalie Fallano at second singles 6-2, 6-2 and at third singles, Bailey Lee beat Malden's Wendy Tse in a hard-fought match 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.

At first doubles Stephanie Ngyen and Jen Uang beat Alison Nguyen and Danielle Ton, 7-5, 6-3 and at second doubles Michelle Ngyen and Diana Hein won 4-6, 6-2, 6-4, over Malden's Vivian and Christine Le.
