UPDATED: Police Looking for Male Who Carjacked 90-Year-Old at Saugus Stop & Shop
The suspect left the elderly man bleeding on the sidewalk.

The vehicle was found early Wednesday morning across the street from the Melrose Department of Public Works Yard, according to police. It was taken to the Saugus Police Department and will be given a full forensic review, police said.

Police are looking for a male who carjacked a 90-year-old man at the Saugus Stop & Shop on Main Street Tuesday morning.
Saugus Police responded to the scene at about 8:10 a.m. and found the victim, who had been grocery shopping, bleeding on the sidewalk, according to a department release.

The suspect was described as a white male, about 5-foot-7 with dark hair, wearing long pants. The suspect stole the victim’s brown 2001 Ford Focus – its Massachusetts license plate number is 868NHV, police said.
The victim declined transportation to a hospital but was taken to a relative’s house by police.
Police are reviewing surveillance footage and will release any usable footage.
