Register for soccer: ages 4-9+

Spring is here and it’s time for everyone to play outdoor soccer!

Malden Youth Soccer invites all players from Malden and surrounding communities to play, including those who haven’t played soccer before. The MYS Spring season runs April 9 - June 12.

The Spring Intown co-ed leagues, U5, U7, and U9, are for children ages 4-9 (born 1/1/2007 through 4/9/2011). The Under-5 (U5) sessions are on Saturday mornings. The U7 and U9 sessions are on Sunday mornings through early afternoon. Teams in all age groups learn ball handling skills, like dribbling, passing, and shooting, and they scrimmage each week. The registration rate is $85; a late fee of $15 will be added beginning March 26, which is also when the teams will all be formed. We especially encourage girls to register.

Uniforms are provided to all players, including socks, shorts and shirt. All you need to have are shin guards, appropriate shoes (cleats optional), and a ball. We always need parents to become assistant coaches and coaches and to otherwise help out: please volunteer!

There are still a few roster spots available in the Spring Travel leagues (birth dates 8/1/1997 - 12/31/2007). Check the registration site to see if there is room in your age group.

Malden Youth Soccer is the only non-profit, volunteer-run, youth soccer organization in Malden. The goal of Malden Youth Soccer is to aid in the development of young people by giving them the opportunity to play soccer. MYS helps players develop their individual skills and fitness, and teaches teamwork and fair play in soccer.
