MALDEN, MA — The Malden Office of the Salvation Army Church is not a donation spot, despite frequently receiving donations from area residents, according to the organization. The Malden Salvation Army location is a church and is unable to transport donated items such as furniture, clothing, toys and bedding.

Any items dropped off at the 213 Main St. location will be thrown out as trash, the organization said. The nearest donation point is the Salvation Army Thrift Shop at 253 Broadway in Saugus.

Donations may be made at https://satruck.org/ or you can call the Saugus Thrift Store at 781-231-0803 for other options.
