Super 8 Tournament: Malden Catholic In
The Lancers will play Austin Prep in their first game of the tourney.
MALDEN, MA - Malden Catholic is the third seed in the Super 8 Tournament pairings voted on Saturday morning by the MIAA Committee in Franklin.
The Lancers (14-3-3) will play sixth-seeded Austin Prep (13-4-3) in a best-of-three series starting March 6 at an undetermined site. (UMass-Lowell could be playing in Tsongas Arena, depending on how it fares in the Hockey East tournament.)
The tournament starts with play-in games between Arlington-Hingham and Reading-Central Catholic. Those games will be played Monday, Feb. 29, at 6 and 8 p.m., respectively, at Chelmsford Forum.
