Two People Injured in Partial Building Collapse in Malden

UPDATED at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday/A third person suffered injuries, but was not transported to a hospital.
MALDEN, MA - Firefighters were at the scene of a partial building collapse that occurred around noon at 15 Pleasant St.

At least two people were transported to area hospital, according to fire officials. A third person suffered injuries, but was not transported to a hospital.
The collapse, which appeared to be a temporary wooden wall, fell onto the sidewalk, as a result of the high winds, according to a fire official.

The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
The city’s building inspector was called. The temporary wall had been up for some time at the restaurant.
OSHA was notified.
