Both the Malden High boys and girls lacrosse teams lost this past week.

It was a rough week for the Malden High boys and girls lacrosse teams, as both squads suffered lopsided defeats.
The boys team , on Thursday with Cruz Desrochers scoring Malden's lone goal. Goalie Stanley Chen made 18 saves in that game.
The girls team as juniors Paula Suerez and Sharon Lee scored both Malden goals.

Mystic Valley 15, North Shore Tech 4/Mystic Valley 15, Blackstone Valley 5:
The Mystic Valley boys lacrosse team improved to 2-0 with a pair of big wins this week. In Wednesday's win over North Shore Tech, senior attackman Jonathan Walker and junior midfielder Jimmy Rossi led the offense. Walker racked up five goals and an asists while Rossi finished with four goals and an assist.

On Thursday against Blackstone Valley, senior attackman Taylor Roseen dominated with five goals and two assists while senior attackman Jonathan Walker had a big game with four goals.
BaseballMystic Valley 14, Lynn Tech 6:
Pat Holden had a monster day for Mystic valley both on the mound and with the bat. Holden struck out nine in five innings of work and helped his own cause at the plate with a pait of hits including a home run and four RBI. Greg Statho also belted a home run and finished with a pair of hits.
SoftballMalden 12, Billerica 6:
Junior Kiara Amos struckout 10 for Malden while sophomores Bridget Furlong, Jessalyn Brown, Melissa Light and Hannah Calderone all had big hits for the Golden Tornadoes. Junior Emily Hoffman and senior Renee Santo helped to blow the game wide open.
Mystic Valley 18, St. Clement 7:
Junior Sarah Marraccino went 4-for-5 and knocked in a pair of runs for Mystic Valley.
