Mystic Valley Lacrosse Improves to 12-3
The Mystic Valley boys lacrosse team improved its record to 12-3 on Monday with a Commonwealth Conference win against Whittier Tech.
The Eagles jumped out to an early lead and never trailed the Wildcats, who are a first year program. Evan Dolber had five goals and an assist and Taylor Roseen added three goals and one assist in a little more than one quarter of play.
The story of the game for the Eagles was the offensive outburst by seventh-grader, Jayden Jean, who had six goals on the day. Another milestone was surpassed Monday as Taylor Roseen eclipsed teammate Evan Dolber's single season scoring record (81 points in 2009) when he scored his 82nd point of the year with four games remaining.
