Weldai to defend School Committee seat: Ward Five School Committee member Adam Weldai will run for re-election this fall. Weldai is the second committee member to announce an e-election bid this week, following Stephen Winslow’s announcement.

Clearing a GBL hurdle: The Malden High School boys and girls track teams hosted Medford yesterday and dealt their long-time rivals crushing defeats. Check out the slide show here.
