Which Presidential Candidates Are Malden Residents Backing?
President Trump had the third-highest number of individual contributions in Malden.
MALDEN, MA — Malden residents favor Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren or Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in 2020, if the receipts are any indication. According to Federal Election Commission data, Warren has more individual donations and has raised more than any other candidate this year up to Sept. 30.
Warren received 46 donations for $4,354.66. Sanders was a close second with 34 donations totaling $3,805.36, followed by former Vice President Joe Biden with one big donation of $2,800.
President Trump had the fifth-highest total, but the third-highest number of individual contributions.
