Whip Clark on the GOP's Extreme, Partisan Funding Bills

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (MA-5) released the following statement on the three extreme appropriations bills passed by the House Republican Majority this week:

“Once again, the MAGA Majority has put its extremism on full display — walking away from a bipartisan funding agreement in order to weaken our national security, attack reproductive health care, endanger LGBTQIA+ Americans, and undermine our defense of global democracy.

“While Republicans desert the American people in service to Donald Trump, House Democrats remain committed to doing our job: keeping government open, lowering the cost of living, and defending the freedom of our constituents.”
