WASHINGTON, D.C. – Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (MA-5) released the following statement on the election of Mike Johnson as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives:
“I congratulate Speaker Mike Johnson on his election. Today, he stated that our nation's founding creed is that all people are created equal and are endowed with certain unalienable rights.
