• FHSfield hockey & volleyball teams top Mansfield on Wednesday (franklinmatters.org) — Mansfield High's field hockey and volleyball teams both fell at home to Franklin on Wednesday, with the Hornets shut out 8–0 in field hockey and swept 3–0 in volleyball. Despite the losses, several Mansfield seniors stood out, including Maddie Zinn, Olivia DuBose, and Daniela Drumea, in matches that capped Franklin's perfect league run.
   

• Massachusetts firefighters train for building collapses (patriotledger.com) — Mansfield firefighters just took part in an intensive eight-day state training on rescuing people from building collapses and other complex disasters at the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy in Bridgewater. The free program, now in its fourth year, is expanding the state's technical rescue capabilities and could see local firefighters deployed to major emergencies across Massachusetts and beyond.
