Dangerous Dog Hearing, Traffic Concerns Set For Wednesday's Selectmen Meeting

Wednesday's meeting at Town Hall starts at 6:30 p.m.

MANSFIELD, MA — The selectmen will be tasked this week with determining if a local dog is dangerous.

Wednesday, the board will hold a public hearing for a dangerous dog complaint. According to a police report, a child was being chased by a Staffordshire bull terrier when he fell and felt a pinch. The child had a red mark and said he was bitten, but police officials said in May that they were not sure if the mark came from the bite or a fall.

Also on tap for Wednesday is a discussion and update on the Chocolate Factory Development Project. Plans called for the former factory to be turned into a mixed-use development with apartments and business space.
