Former Selectman Preparing For Comeback
Ex-board member Olivier Kozlowski is hoping to regain his seat on the Mansfield Board of Selectmen.

MANSFIELD, MA — A veteran of the board of selectmen is aiming for a return to the board.
Former selectman Olivier Kozlowski announced Monday that he is running for the seat vacated by the death of George Dentino. He is the fifth person to pull papers for the special election.
"On Friday I pulled papers to run for the open seat on the Mansfield Board of Selectmen in the November 14th special election. I hope to earn your vote!" Kozlowski said in an announcement posted on Facebook.

Last year, Kozlowski, a two-term selectman, lost his seat in a three-way race for two spots on the board.
Kozlowski is the fifth person to pull papers. Neil Rhein of Old North Trail, Matthew Donnelly of Shawmut Avenue and Allen Bryer of Copeland Drive, and David R. Martin of Samoset Avenue have taken out nomination papers.

Candidates must obtain the signatures of 50 registered Mansfield voters by Sept. 26 to make the ballot. The election is scheduled for Nov. 14.
