For those of you who know Neil Rhein, you understand the reference to trash! In 2008, Neil launched Keep Mansfield Beautiful and organized the first Great American Cleanup of Mansfield. Over the years, we’ve watched Neil build his vision into a vibrant, sustainable organization. This spring, 600 volunteers cleaned the town and celebrated after at the annual cookout. The event fosters a sense of Mansfield pride and allows neighbors to get to know one another in a fun and productive setting.

Two years ago, Neil expanded upon the success of the Mansfield Cleanup and founded Keep Massachusetts Beautiful. The organization offers guidance and provides a framework for towns/cities to follow in order to become cleaner and greener. This year, The New England Patriots recognized Neil’s efforts with the prestigious 2017 Myra Kraft Community MVP Award, granting $5,000 to Keep Mansfield Beautiful.

Neil saw a need in our town and took it upon himself to do something about it. He worked tirelessly to make his vision a reality. This is the type of initiative and leadership we want in our town Selectmen!

We have known Neil for many years and are confident that he will bring the same level of professionalism, commitment and energy to the role of Selectman that he did with his beautification efforts. We hope you will vote for him on November 14th!

Rhein Is An Independent Candidate Who Gets Things Done

We are writing this letter to share with you why we are supporting Neil Rhein in the coming election and asking you to vote for him as well. We have known Neil and his family for over 20 years. During this time, we have come to know him as a thoughtful, caring, honest and hardworking family man.

Neil does not merely join boards and organizations, but rather he identifies issues and problems, then creates organizations and solutions to address them. He has started and grown successful businesses, nonprofit organizations and committees. He has led and worked with public, private and nonprofit organizations at local, state and national levels to get things done.

We can count on Neil to be a strong independent voice for all of the residents of our great town. He is not affiliated with any local political party organization. He will challenge the status quo to ensure that the leaders of our town are consistently making decisions that are in the best short and long term interests of Mansfield. He is fiscally responsible and will use his creativity and good judgment to help ensure our town continues to grow smartly and flourish.

We encourage you to learn as much as you can about all the candidates and to vote on November 14 for Neil Rhein.

Rhein Has Diverse Background

As a 20 year Mansfield resident, I had the pleasure of meeting Neil Rhein during a pick-up basketball game in the late 1990’s. Neil was a worthy opponent because he never took a night off, working diligently to keep himself in shape and become a better basketball player. Neil’s diligence and hard work didn’t just apply to basketball, but to all aspects of his personal and professional life.

His background is diverse, having worked in the corporate sector for 15 years at Fidelity Investments, followed by a successful launch of his own editorial and writing services business, Bullseye Communications. Demonstrating his dedication and love for Mansfield, he also co-organized the first Great American Cleanup of Mansfield, and founded Keep Massachusetts Beautiful to keep our town clean and make our downtown more inviting to visitors and businesses.

Perhaps most importantly, Neil is a great family man and friend. When I need advice on my own career or thoughts on the business, political, environmental or regulatory landscape, he’s one of the first people I reach out to.This is important, not because Neil has all the answers, but because of the dialogue. Think about it - it’s rare in this day, age and political climate to meet someone whose effort level is always 100%, yet is humble enough to genuinely ask thought provoking questions, listen and carefully consider other viewpoints before forming his own opinion. He will bring a refreshing change, approach and independent voice to the Board of Selectman.

For these reasons, I believe Neil is the best person for the job and strongly support his candidacy. Please consider voting for Neil Rhein on November 14th.

Rhein Offers Professionalism, Commitment, and Determination

I am writing to encourage Mansfield residents to vote for Neil Rhein for Selectman on Tuesday, November 14th. I met Neil 10 years ago at the first Great American Cleanup of Mansfield that he co-founded. Neil saw how this event brought the community together and wanted to guarantee this was a yearly event. Therefore, he created the town committee Keep Mansfield Beautiful and I joined.

Over these past several years, I have watched Neil build this committee into a professional, vibrant, financially sound, and sustainable organization. As Neil envisioned, the yearly litter cleanup continues to be very successful and the committee now supports 8 additional recycling and beautification programs. This was all achieved by reaching out and working closely with Mansfield residents, local organizations, businesses, schools, and town officials.

With his continued passion to make a difference, determination to improve the environment, and strong work ethic, Neil assisted many surrounding towns in creating cleanups of their own. Seeing a greater need still, Neil branched out even further and founded Keep Massachusetts Beautiful two years ago. His nonprofit company provides information, guidance, and a framework for towns/cities to follow in order to become cleaner and greener. Last spring, the New England Patriots awarded Neil their 2017 Myra Kraft Community MVP award, along with a $5,000 grant to his nonprofit organization.

Neil started these organizations because he saw a need that needed to be fulfilled. He works tirelessly to make a vision a reality. Simply stated, Neil takes an idea and makes it happen. This is the type of leadership we want in a Selectman for our town.

I believe Neil will, without a doubt, bring the same level of professionalism, commitment, and determination to this role as he has done with Keep Mansfield Beautiful and Keep Massachusetts Beautiful. That’s why I wholeheartedly endorse Neil Rhein for Mansfield Selectman and ask for your support in the November 14th special election.
