Local Police Dispatched to Xfinity Center During Summer Jam
Thursday night, police officers from Foxborough, Attleboro, Norton, and Plainville were called in to assist with Summer Jam.

Mansfield, MA - Several local police departments responded to a mutual aid request during the JAM'N 94.5 Summer Jam show at the Xfinity Center.
At about 8:30 p.m., police officers from Foxborough, Attleboro, Norton, and Plainville responded to the request, according to the Sun Chronicle. Dispatchers declined to give details on the problem, and the Mansfield Police Department simply said it was a busy show.
In the past, the rap concert has been considered one of the more troublesome events at the concert venue, with dozens taken into custody at the show each year. Last year, a number of concertgoers, mainly teens who drank alcohol off-site, were taken to local hospitals.
