Man Stole $20,000 Worth of Laptops From Mansfield Businesses: PD
Between on Aug. 31 and Dec, 3, 2018, 11 laptops were stolen from six companies in the Cabot Business Park on West Street, police said.
MANSFIELD, MA — A North Attleboro man was arrested after breaking into six businesses and stealing $20,000 worth of laptops, according to police. Reginald Shepard, 56, was charged with six counts each of breaking and entering and larceny, and one count of malicious destruction. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Wednesday in Attleboro District Court.
Between on Aug. 31 and Dec, 3, 2018, 11 laptops were stolen from six companies in the Cabot Business Park on West Street, police told the Sun Chronicle. Police said all the thefts happened at night after businesses closed.
Police warned business owners and residents on social media back in November. On Dec. 18, police had their first break in the case, pulling over Shepard for a traffic violation on West Street. Police said Shepard is the same man seen on security cameras at the broken in businesses.

Shepard was released on personal recognizance and is due back in court April 5.
