Mansfield Field Hockey Advance to Tournament Semi-Finals
The Hornets beat Wellesley 1-0 Sunday afternoon.
The Mansfield High School field hockey team will play for at least one more game.
Sunday afternoon, the Hornets defeated Wellesley 1-0 in the quarterfinal round of the MIAA Division 1 South tournament.
With the win, No. 1 Mansfield will play No. 4 Franklin in the semi-finals. During the regular season, the Panthers handed the Hornets their only loss of the year, a 4-3 defeat in September. Mansfield, however, gained a 1-0 win in October.
