Mansfield Firefighter Held On Bail For OUI, Child Endangerment Charges

MANSFIELD, MA — A member of the Mansfield Fire Department who was arrested for drunken driving Friday appeared in Attleboro District Court Monday.
James Devine faces his second OUI charge along with child endangerment, marked lane violations, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop for police. He was ordered held on $1,500 cash bail and must remain alcohol free, according to reports.
Devine was arrested early Friday evening after Mansfield Police told Attleboro Police to be on the lookout for Devine's vehicle. When the car was stopped in Attleboro, officers allegedly found a child inside the vehicle.
