Mansfield Hornets Named Boston Globe All-Scholastics

Two individuals and a relay team have earned All-Scholastic honors.

The accolades are still rolling in for some Mansfield Hornets.

The Boston Globe recently named basketball player Ryan Boulter to their Super Team with 2-miler Dan Romano and the girls’ 4x400 team of Emma Oldow, Mikaila Amerantes, Lindsay Goulet, and Rachel Stier earning All-Scholastics honors.

One of the state’s best scorers, Boulter averaged 22.6 points a game, 50 percent shooting, and 44 percent from the 3-point line.

The state champion in the 2-mile, Romano won the crown with a time of 9:25.41 and helped the Mansfield distance medley relay place second at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix.

In girls’ track, the 4x400 team won the state crown in 3:58.75, just off the school record of 3:58.65.
