Mansfield Might Have A Check For You

MANSFIELD, MA — Free money? Well, not exactly, but Mansfield residents might have some money owed to them, according to town officials. Mansfield compiled a list of people who have unclaimed checks issued by the town, in accordance with state unclaimed property law.

Some of the checks are for as little as $10, but some Mansfield residents have checks for hundreds or even thousands of dollars just waiting to get picked up. There's even one check for over $15,000 that has yet to be claimed.

To find out if Mansfield owes you money, check out the list the town compiled on its website. if you see your name, make sure you file a claim in time with this form. Residents with claims under $100 have until Aug. 8 to claim their check, while anyone who's owed more than $100 has until Aug. 17.
