Mansfield Police Looking For SUV Suspected In Hit-And-Run Crash

The victim's Jeep struck a utility pole, but police believe the SUV pictured above may have been involved in the crash.

MANSFIELD, MA — Police have identified a black SUV they believe was involved in a hit-and-run crash that hospitalized one woman.

The crash happened around 8:30 a.m., Wednesday on Chauncey street and caused a 31-year-old Mansfield woman's car to roll-over. The victim’s Jeep struck a utility pole, but police believe the SUV pictured above may have been involved in the crash.

According to witnesses, the woman was temporarily trapped inside the car, but forced herself out before police arrived. She was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton for what police believed were non life-threatening injuries.
