Mansfield Police Weekly Update: 612 Calls, 14 Arrests
Here's the Mansfield Police Department's weekly report.

From the Mansfield Police Department:
Between Sept. 1-8, the Mansfield Police Department responded to 612 calls for service, a 51 percent increase from the prior week (one more day). Officers responded to five 911 hang-ups, 71 medical calls, and 19 alarms, 12 of which were commercial and seven were residential. Officers conducted 87 motor vehicle stops, 67 percent of which were written warnings or civil citations, and 33 percent were verbal warnings.
MPD made 14 arrests this week; 21 percent of which were on-site arrests, 57 percent were summons, and 21 percent were warrant arrests. Nine of the arrests were non-residents, four were residents, and one was unknown.

In addition to the arrest reports written, officers wrote 32 reports this week. The arrest and incident reports include but are not limited to assault and battery with a deadly weapon, shoplifting, larceny, malicious destruction, harassment, restraining order violation, disturbance, hit and run, and breaking and entering into a motor vehicle.
Officers responded to 13 accidents this week. Thirty-eight percent occurred on Friday and 31 percent occurred between 2 and 3:30 p.m.
