The Chabad Jewish Center will be once again hosting the Model Matzah Bakery workshop on Sunday, March 31, at 1 p.m.
This Model Matzah Bakery is an exciting, hands-on educational workshop and fun experience for the entire family. Participants will experience and relive the story, history and art of Matzah Baking by hand.
Dressed in baker's hats, participants will assist in the entire process of baking handmade Passover Matzah from start to oven-fresh finish; which will include kneading, rolling and perforating dough, until finally a piping hot, oven fresh Matzah is produced. Following the making of the Matzah baking, participants will learn how flour is made with a wheat grinding presentation, and join in a model Passover Seder as they enjoy their crunchy hot Matzah, with grape juice.
