Norton Man Charged With Breaking Into Cousin's Pizza
James Mason, 43, of Norton, was arrested Monday and faces multiple charges.
MANSFIELD, MA — A man wanted in connection to a break-in at a local pizza shop is now in police custody.
James Mason, 43, of Norton, was arrested Monday and charged with breaking and entering into a depository, malicious damage over $250, and larceny from a building over $250. He also had an outstanding warrant, according to the Mansfield Police Department.
At 12:19 a.m. on April 19, police responded to an alarm at Cousin’s Pizza. Officers at the scene found broken glass and confirmed that the suspects were able to access the register and safe, and make away with $900, according to the Mansfield Police Log.

Police say Mason was apprehended after a resident saw a surveillance photo of Mason leaving in a Saab. That person was able to give officer the vehicle's license plate number, leading to Mason's arrest.
Mason is due to be arraigned in Attleboro District Court.
