Police Investigation Shuts Down Ware and Branch Streets

Police are investigating an apparent suspicious male seen at a Branch Street home.

At 11:04 a.m., Mansfield police received a call from a resident on Ware Street reporting a male at a Branch Street home.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered damage to an unsecure backdoor.

During the on-scene investigation, police secured and closed the area around Branch and Ware Streets until 12:58 p.m. A search of the area by mutual aid and K9 units did not turn up a suspect, but evidence was found that could lead to the identity of the person involved according to police.
