Special Event - Let's Laugh Today in Mansfield

You are invited to an uplifting, fun and unique laughter session on Monday, May 12th from 7 to 8pm.  Cost: $10.  Please bring your water bottle as laughing can be dehydrating.

Laughter yoga encourages playfulness, deep belly laughs, social connection, and a balance of mind, body, and spirit. A fake laugh even has all the same health benefits as a real one, but turns into a real laugh when practiced in a group! It is called laughter yoga because it combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing. This brings more oxygen to the body and the brain which makes one feel more energetic and healthy. There are no fancy movements or joke-telling and any level of physical ability can do this as it can be done sitting or standing. It is for all ages and all physical abilities.

It has been shown that laughing strengthens the immune system, unwinds the negative effects of stress, lowers blood pressure, improves mental alertness, helps with depression and much more. Please bring your water bottle because laughing is dehydrating. Led by Certified Laughter Yoga Teachers and founders of the Let's Laugh Today Laughter Club, Linda and Bill Hamaker  See www.letslaughtoday.com for other laughter opportunities in other towns.

Bill and Linda Hamaker are Certified Laughter Yoga Teachers and are graduates of both The American School of Laughter Yoga and The Dr. Kataria School of Laughter Yoga.  They are the founders of the Let's Laugh Today Laughter Clubs in Franklin, Westwood, Walpole and Sharon, MA and have been leading laughter sessions for companies and private groups since 2009. They also teach others to lead laughter sessions and have been named Ambassadors to Laughter Yoga by Dr. Madan Kataria, the Indian physician who created Laughter Yoga.
