St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield is hosting our annual SEPTEMBERFEST this Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 11 to 4, rain or shine. Septemberfest will be held on the parish grounds located in back of St. Mary’s Church at 330 Pratt Street. All are welcome!
Events and activities include a cash raffle – top prize of $1,500 – with winners to be drawn at the end of the day. For younger guests, Southwick Zoo of Mendon will bring a kangaroo (11:00 a.m. inside the Parish Center). Pony rides; train rides; an obstacle course; a dunk tank; a soccer shootout; face painting; and some classic carnival game are available for kids of all ages. Many items, donated by area businesses and generous individuals, will be featured on the silent auction and small raffle tables. Check out some of the Antique and Classic Cars on hand, and then watch our pie judging contest. Enjoy a hot lunch, and peruse many items at our craft tables. Wander over to check out the selection of used books. See a karate demonstration, and several performances by local dance groups. Sit under the big tent, and enjoy the DJ, a slice of hot apple pie and ice cream. Baked goods are available for sale as well. Come and enjoy with your family and friends!
